World Health - Brain Tumors - Although it was not concluded with certainty, scientists from the U.S. via media reports from the most recent research, predicts that within a decade or longer increased the amount of the risk of brain tumors due to the use of mobile phones.
In previous research, some scientists did find a weak relationship between cell phones and brain tumors, but there was no clear indication about what the risks faced by mobile users.
"We can not make definite conclusions," said Dr. Deepa Subramaniam, director of Brain Tumor Center at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, in Washington DC.
"But this study, in addition to many previous studies, which continue to leave doubt hanging about potential increased risk. So, once again, after many years, we do not have answers to the street-corners," he said.
However, Joel Moskowitz, senior author of the study, said that 'there is clearly a risk'. He is a Director at the Center for Family and Community Health at the University of California, Berkeley.
To avoid a brain tumor. "I would not let the kids use the phone, or I at least would require them to use a separate headset device," said Moskowitz.
